1) Gesture (left): Gestural rendering of the object drawing— should feel fluid, quick, hand-drawn. It can have quite a bit of detail or be very simple. Focus on line to define the object.

2) Graphic: Black and white only; can appear to have “shading” as long as the shading is created us- ing only black and white. It can be quite detailed or just have some detail.

3) Simplified. Reduce your graphic representation to the exterior shape of the object, with no or a small number of negative shapes in the interior.
